About

“You Start Dying When You Stop Dreaming.”

Jawhar Stokes II was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer called ASPS (Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma). This type of cancer affects children UNDER 18. There is currently no cure for ASPS.

A battle was established between Jawhar and this rare cancer up until his passing on the day after his 19th birthday. Jawhar never stopped dreaming and coined the term, “You Start Dying When You Stop Dreaming.”

YSDWYSD is a movement. Its purpose is to encourage the youth to never stop dreaming by providing content, events, and clothing for the youth generation. Our target audience is the millennial generation, ages 18-24, young men and women. YSDWYSD is a part of a non-profit organization, The Jawhar Stokes Foundation. The Jawhar Stokes Foundation is committed towards the care, health, and wellbeing of children diagnosed with rare diseases and genetic disorders.

We are the future!
You start dying when you stop dreaming.
